The Sunset Sherbet strain has prominent citrus, earthy, and sweet flavors. These flavors come from Sunset Sherbert’s terpene profile of Caryophyllene and Limonene. Also Called Sherbet or Sherbert for short, Sunset Sherbert is a popular dessert strain that also features creaminess, candy, berries, and skunk notes.

As the cannabis legend goes, the hybrid strain Sunset Sherbert was created by accident by a San Fransisco Bay Area grower calling themselves Mr. Sherbinski. This cultivar stumbled upon what the late great Bob Ross called a “happy accident” by accidentally producing in San Francisco Bay when Mr. Sherbinski introduced a male Pink Panties plant into a room of GSC female plants.

Sherbinski says they intended for the Sunset Sherbert plants to inherit the genetic lineage of its parent strain, the famous GSC. Since this happy accident, the highly touted Sunset Sherbert has become a household name. In the downtown Los Angeles Fairfax district, a dispensary called Sherbinski’s opened in this strain’s name. Sunset Sherbet was awarded 3rd place for best Coffeeshop Flower at the 2017 Amsterdam Cannabis Cup.
